Patrick and Mark were introduced by their respective partners. After one night out in Wrexham the friendship was forged and is still going strong today.
With Patricks creative design company Artsanac LTD designing and supplying clients and employees with cutting edge work wear, Mark came up with an idea to branch out from solely Artsanac branded garments and create a whole new fashion line that will hopefully take the world by storm!
December 2015. The dream turned reality when Patrick agreed to come on board with the project and Mark got an instant insight into the hard work that was to come!
With a background in graphic design, website design, app design and development and an overall impeccable business brain, Patrick has become a vital component in the Spectacle Clothing Company’s existence.
With a background in retail and content writing and editing, Mark has used his drive to create something unique and cutting edge, and hopes to see the Spectacle Clothing Company become a global entity.
Throughout the conception and initial ideas for the Spectacle Clothing Company there was lots to be decided and the thought process behind every facet of the business has been meticulously planned.
We had banded a few ideas around as to what road we wanted to take as a clothing company. Some ideas came close to fruition, others not so much. Once we really put our heads together we came up with a solid brand concept for the Spectacle Clothing Company. The double meaning between the phrase, ‘create a spectacle’ and the actual spectacled bear made branding easier than most other ideas and therefore became our sole focus moving forward.
The company was launched worldwide in September 2017. The sole focus surrounded on the classic and the bear designs as well as setting the scene for future developments.
What does the future have in store for the Spectacle Clothing Company? Quite frankly who knows! The sky is the limit for the business, as we all know fashion is a living and breathing entity, therefore making today’s hot trends yesterday’s news if we lay stagnant. The idea is to release seasonal pieces in order to keep the consumers happy alongside our ever-present classics range that will allow you to wear the bear all year round!
